Arm Lift
Why Go for an Arm Lift?
Exercise may strengthen and improve muscle tone, but it cannot address skin elasticity. Nor can it resolve unwanted fat deposits that give the arms their flabby appearance. Fortunately, Dr. Gabbay creates a sculpted upper arm that you are proud to show off.
What Does the Surgery Do?
Brachioplasty After Weight Loss
After weight loss, you may have a large amount of excess, drooping skin in the upper arm region. In most cases, the skin has been stretched to the point that it has lost its elastic ability. It cannot retract to the new shape of the body. It can help you take that final step to reach the body you deserve. After the procedure, you can dress in clothing you might have been too self-conscious to wear before.
Types of Arm Lift Procedures
- Type I: Excess skin with minimal fatty deposits
- Type II: Both excess skin and fatty deposits
- Type III: Excess skin in the upper third of the arm, typically caused by aging
- Type IV: Excess skin in the lower third of the arm, typically caused by aging or massive weight loss

Procedure Details
Full Lift
The full upper arm lift is a technique used to remove excess skin that hangs from the upper arm. Full lifts are good for patients with large amounts of excess skin and fat from rapid weight loss.
Mini Arm Lift
Mini Arm Lift is similar to that of the full one but on a reduced scale. The mini lift procedure is for patients who have lost a moderate amount of weight due to diet and exercise. It is also for those with excess skin as a result of the natural aging process. It provides more subtle results.
